Kon’nitchiwa!!!
As soon as you draw the plastic curtains which separate Kodawari Ramen restaurant from Mazarine street, you will have the impression to be in an authentic Yokocho : Japanese paper lamps, gadgets of all kinds, Japanese stars posters. It is so Kawaï !!!
What is their specialty ? Ramen, the traditional Japanese soup bowl, which is composed of noodles, vegetables, and often meat pieces.
Why so special about these ramen ? It’s all about their ingredients and originality. For instance, Fall Ramen is made of a squash soup, chanterelle mushrooms and beetroots. I ordered the traditional ramen soup with the « chef option » (extra chicken). I really enjoyed it.
As regards drinks, you can taste the strawberry Japanese lemonade, Oolong tea or Saké mojito (good).
My tip : it’s better if you arrive by 6.30 pm in order not to wait too long outside. I arrived at 6.45 pm and I waited for 45 minutes. Service is a bit long on Saturday night.
