Gentlemen 1919 is a barbershop hidden in the small street of the Champs Elysées area. I took one of my other bearded client there and this is place to be groomed ! The inside is loaded with inspirations from the times of Prohibition in America (from 1920-1933), where visits to barbershops were common for men and where concealed consumption of alcohol among friends took place.Actually, there is a speakeasy at the back of the barbershop. It’s very intimist and you really have the impression to be in an hidden address, unlike other trendy Parisian speakeasy. You can even find a cigar smoking room 🙂 Let’s talk about the shave!My friend had for the first time a professional shave and was very satisfied. The team is great and extremely professional! Gentlemen 1919 also offers shoe shine and dyeing services and Romain can also customize your Stan Smith pair 🙂 The barbershop is open till 10 pm so you can relax and enjoy a perfect bear cut before having a drink at the bar: )
